Security Forces Launch Rescue Operation for Six NSUK Students, Visitor Abducted Near Campus
A multi-agency team of police, DSS, military, NSCDC and local vigilantes have begun operations to free six students and a visitor abducted from an off-campus hostel on May 6. Armed hoodlums reportedly stormed the lodge at Anguwar Ninzo, Gudi on the outskirts of Nasarawa town around 9 pm. The state Police Commissioner visited the scene, redeployed the Area Commander in Akwanga and assured the university community of their commitment to the safe release of the victims.
