I saw videos of masked DSS officers forcibly dragging Sowore out of court like a hardened criminal. It was a barbaric display that shames our justice system. Sowore has sacrificed much in the struggle against bad leadership. Watching him treated this way, many of us fear he won’t get a fair hearing in what feels like a kangaroo court. If Nigerians stay silent now, it would betray his sacrifices. We should demand justice for Sowore and push for serious reforms, or even consider devolution or a referendum if our country is to move forward.
