Trabzonspor Demand €30m for Super Eagles Striker Paul Onuachu Amid Saudi Interest

Trabzonspor Demand €30m for Super Eagles Striker Paul Onuachu Amid Saudi Interest — 1 of 3
1 / 3

Trabzonspor are reportedly willing to sell Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu if a club meets their €30 million valuation. Onuachu returned to the Turkish club permanently last summer after a successful loan spell from Southampton. He scored 26 goals in all competitions, including 22 league goals that earned him a share of the Turkish Super Lig Golden Boot. Saudi Pro League side Al Ahli are reported to be leading the race for the 32-year-old, while Al Hilal could also enter the market for a striker. Trabzonspor may be more open to a sale as they pursue a replacement, but any move depends on the asking price being met.

Do you think his 26 goals across competitions justify Trabzonspor holding out for the full €30 million?

Absolutely, 26 goals is serious business. Trabzonspor are right to stand firm; quality strikers no dey grow on trees.

A successful loan, permanent return, and 26 goals make this a strong season for Onuachu at Trabzonspor.

€30 million sounds ambitious, though Saudi interest could make that valuation more realistic than it first appears.

Trabzonspor should set a clear deadline and only sell if the offer matches their valuation and sporting plans.
