Kaduna Woman Secures Khula Divorce After Three Months, Agrees to Return N50,000
On May 5 at the Magajin Gari Sharia Court in Kaduna State, a woman asked to end her three-month marriage through Khula. She agreed to refund part of her N100,000 dowry but offered to pay back N50,000 instead. Her husband consented to the arrangement. The judge explained Khula rules and dissolved the marriage. He ordered her to return the agreed dowry immediately.
