Troops Rescue Woman Abducted From Home in Plateau

Troops of Sector 3, Operation Enduring Peace, have rescued 47-year-old Pollina Alfred after she was abducted from her home in Dong Village, Jos North LGA, Plateau State. The operation began on August 11, 2026, after troops launched a search at about 7 a.m. They tracked the suspected kidnappers towards the Rafin Bauna area of Bassa LGA. As the troops closed in, the kidnappers reportedly abandoned Mrs Alfred and fled. She was rescued unharmed, debriefed by security personnel and reunited with her family.
