INEC reported that 1,386 of Osun State’s 3,763 polling-unit results had been uploaded to its IReV portal as of 5:24 p.m. on election day. This represented 36.83% of the expected results. The governorship contest was widely seen as a close race between incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party and Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress.
