Mr Ibu’s First Wife Alleges Stella Sold Houses, Squandered Donation Funds

The alleged first wife of late actor Mr Ibu has accused his widow, Stella Marris, of selling two of his properties and misusing donated funds. She says Stella had her children arrested while Mr Ibu was ill, sold the Enugu home for ₦18 million and later sold his Lagos house. Stella and her associates then went on a spending spree after the burial, leaving her struggling to pay rent, fetch water from a well, and charge phones. Mr Ibu’s son insists he was the sole signatory to the late actor’s account and denies any interference from the adopted daughter. Stella, meanwhile, maintains the accusations are malicious and vows to respond to all allegations.
