The Anambra State chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations organised an Evening of Tribute for Chief (Dr) Uche Udedibia, a veteran journalist and former Chief of Protocol who served as Permanent Secretary, Government House. Colleagues and mentees gathered at De-Nobles Hotel Awka to honour his legacy. Speakers including Dr Ike Neliaku and Dr Dennis Ekemezie praised his lifelong commitment to ethical public relations, mentorship and nation-building. Family members shared personal reflections. His daughter and sister thanked the Institute for celebrating his impact. The two-day event concluded with prayers for his peaceful rest ahead of his burial in Ifitedunu, Dunukofia LGA on 19 June.

Organisers could consider creating an online archive or video highlights of the tribute evening so mentees and colleagues can revisit his legacy anytime.
