As followers of Christ, we should remain filled with the Holy Spirit and prepared for spiritual battles. Some people may direct their anger at God toward believers, especially when faith challenges their way of life. Jesus warned that His followers would face rejection because they belong to Him. A servant is not greater than the master; if He was persecuted, His followers should expect opposition too. Rather than responding with bitterness, believers should remain steadfast, prayerful and guided by Christ’s example.
