CAS Clears Chelsea's Mykhailo Mudryk to Return After Doping Ban Appeal

CAS Clears Chelsea's Mykhailo Mudryk to Return After Doping Ban Appeal

Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk can return to competitive football immediately after the Court of Arbitration for Sport partially upheld his appeal against a four-year doping ban. The 25-year-old Ukraine international has not played since November 2024. He was provisionally suspended the following month after an adverse finding for meldonium, a banned substance. Mudryk accepted that he breached anti-doping rules and agreed to a suspension covering the time he has already served. Chelsea say he will now work towards full fitness and join the club's pre-season tour.
