Anambra Police Arrest Four Over Shallow Grave Killing of 23-Year-Old Woman

The Anambra State Police Command has arrested four suspects linked to the murder of a 23-year-old woman. Her body was discovered in a shallow grave after the suspects reportedly used her phone to demand a N2 million ransom from her family. Locals assisted officers in exhuming the remains. In a statement, the police spokesperson said Ifechukwu Okechukwu, 33, is the first suspect under investigation for the alleged killing and secret burial of his girlfriend. The arrests followed credible information from concerned members of the public. Detectives from the State Criminal Investigation Department have taken over the case and are conducting detailed inquiries to ensure justice is served.
