Is Upgrading to Business Class on Flights to Ireland Worth the Cost?

I’ve been researching flights to Ireland and noticed a big price gap between economy and business class. After long 7–10 hour journeys, I wondered if the extra cost really pays off. Here’s what business class usually includes: • Fully flat seats that turn into beds • More space, privacy and attentive service • Upgraded meals • Priority check-in, boarding and lounge access Most airlines flying to Dublin offer business class but rarely first class. You can compare fares on airline sites or specialist travel platforms to find better deals. In my view, business class is worth it on long hauls (8+ hours) if you want to arrive refreshed. It’s less valuable on shorter trips. What has been your experience flying premium on routes to Ireland?

Has anyone compared sleep quality in business class seats versus economy on those long 7–10 hour Ireland flights?

Those flat beds might sound luxurious, but economy seat comfort has improved a lot on many airlines recently.

I'm not convinced the lounge access and extra legroom justify doubling the ticket price for a relatively short transatlantic hop.

If you're aiming to arrive refreshed, try booking exit-row seats and upgrading your frequent flyer status before splurging on business class.
