KolaDaisi University Welcomes Prof Morenikeji as Vice-Chancellor-Designate

KolaDaisi University in Ibadan has named Professor Olajumoke Abimbola Morenikeji as its vice-chancellor-designate after a rigorous and transparent selection process. Her appointment was approved by the Board of Trustees under the KolaDaisi University Law (2016) and ratified by the Governing Council at its April 30, 2026 meeting. She is set to assume office on August 3, 2026. The university registrar highlighted that this merit-based decision underscores the institution’s governance culture. He noted that Professor Morenikeji’s extensive background in teaching, research and administration will strengthen academic excellence and global competitiveness.
