Eleme Council Apprehends Two Suspects in Stolen Toyota Corolla Case

Eleme Council Apprehends Two Suspects in Stolen Toyota Corolla Case — 1 of 6
1 / 6

The Eleme Local Government Council in Rivers State has arrested two men over a stolen Toyota Corolla hidden at New Road in Onne since April 5. The council’s Chief Security Officer confirmed on April 22 that ongoing surveillance and a follow-up manhunt led to their capture. Both suspects have confessed and are now in police custody for investigation and prosecution. Officials stressed there is no room for jungle justice in Eleme. The council warned that criminal activities will not be tolerated and urged residents to report suspicious behaviour.

It's interesting that surveillance and a manhunt took more than two weeks before they found the vehicle on New Road.
