Dekina/Bassa APC Aspirant Monday Rizama Albert Demands Fair Primaries

Dekina/Bassa APC Aspirant Monday Rizama Albert Demands Fair Primaries

Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo recently met with APC stakeholders in Kogi State. He urged unity and asked all aspirants to back whoever wins the party ticket. He also avoided naming any favoured candidate and warned against moves that could spark tension. Meanwhile, in Dekina/Bassa Federal Constituency, mixed reactions emerged. Leading House of Representatives aspirant Monday Rizama Albert has called for a transparent and competitive selection. He warned against any form of imposition and stressed that every contender should test their popularity with the people. Albert argued that Bassa residents have long felt politically marginalised. He said inclusiveness is overdue and that a level playing field would strengthen APC unity. He urged the party leadership to uphold internal democracy and consult broadly to avoid dissatisfaction.
