Inter’s Sporting Director Rebukes Barcelona over Bastoni Interest

Inter’s Sporting Director Rebukes Barcelona over Bastoni Interest — 1 of 2
1 / 2

Inter Milan’s sporting director has criticised Barcelona’s media-fuelled pursuit of defender Alessandro Bastoni. Piero Ausilio pointed out that no formal approach has been made and said, “If someone wants Bastoni, they should call us and not talk [in the media].” He added that the club is happy with the 27-year-old centre-back and expects him to remain in Milan this summer. Perhaps Inter should share clear transfer steps publicly so fans and clubs know exactly how to handle transfer rumours correctly.
