How to Wait on God With Joy, Faith and Patience
Waiting on God can be one of the hardest tests of faith. Delays can bring anxiety, comparison and discouragement, but joyful waiting is rooted in trusting that God is still at work, even when the outcome is not yet visible. Isaiah 30:18 reminds believers that those who wait for the Lord are blessed. Rather than forcing outcomes, we are called to pray, remain faithful, rejoice in hope and trust God’s timing. Like a farmer who does not dig up a seed each day to inspect it, we can trust that growth is taking place beneath the surface. Christ offers peace, endurance and confidence that God’s promises will be fulfilled. Prayer: Lord Jesus, teach me to wait with joy, faith and patience. Remove anxiety and discouragement from my heart, and help me to trust Your perfect timing. Amen.
