Nigerian Teenager Seun Akanji Pens Four-Year Deal with Lillestrøm FK

Nigerian forward Seun Akanji has completed a permanent transfer to Norwegian side Lillestrøm, signing a four-year contract. Akanji first joined the club on trial one and a half years ago at age 16. Lillestrøm secured an option to sign him once he turned 18. “I’m incredibly happy to be here. Signing for a fantastic club like this means a lot to me,” he said, adding that he feels proud and ready to give everything for the team. Sports director Espen Olsen praised Akanji’s potential, recalling how impressed he was during the trial match. The club looks forward to further developing the exciting, explosive attacker.
