PRAD Students Shine at Lens University’s World PR Day Celebration

On July 16 2026, PRAD students at Lens University in Kwara State joined public relations professionals worldwide to mark World Public Relations Day. The event on campus was led by Dr Mrs Atinukemi Abbas and attended by the dean of the faculty, the head of Mass Communication, the university’s PR officer, and other staff from the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies. Speakers highlighted how PR shapes reputations, builds trust, and fosters mutual understanding. They urged students to embrace ethical standards, apply classroom skills to real challenges, and strive for excellence. Students displayed placards showcasing PR principles and shared how the celebration strengthened their passion and commitment to the profession.
