Yet they devoted resources and risked stability to support liberation movements across southern Africa. Tanzania hosted the ANC headquarters and training camps. Zambia sheltered SWAPO and ANC fighters in Lusaka. Both countries bore refugee crises, economic strain, and security threats for decades. Their sacrifice yielded freedom for South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and Angola. May we find strength to persevere in unseen work, trusting that in due season we will reap.
