Lost Spanish Teen Found Alone in Kano Village After Separation on Jos–Saminaka Road

A 16-year-old boy from Spain was found wandering in Dadin Kowa village, Doguwa LGA, Kano State. According to the Kano State Police Command’s spokesperson, he arrived in Abuja with four relatives on March 30 to visit his father in Kano. He became separated from them along the Jos–Saminaka route. The teenager, identified as Alex Ansol, speaks English and has a slim build with a dark complexion. Anyone with information about his relatives or family should contact the Kano State Police Command’s public relations office or the Doguwa Division.

I know it's tempting to guess, but we don't have enough info to draw conclusions about what happened.

It seems odd that a teen with family in Abuja ended up so far off course without anyone noticing until he reached Dadin Kowa village.

I'm not convinced this was just bad luck; there must be gaps in how travel supervision was arranged for a minor visiting from abroad.

Local authorities should work with travel agencies and families to establish clear check-in points and emergency contacts for minors travelling long distances.
