ADA Takes INEC to Court, Alleges Fraud in NDC Registration
A row has erupted over INEC’s registration of the Senator Dickson-led National Democratic Congress. The All Democratic Alliance claims the party bypassed established guidelines and obtained its certificate without participating in the process. Dr Umar Ardo told national media that only 14 of 171 associations were shortlisted and eight advanced to verification. He said the ADA fulfilled all requirements but was excluded, yet the NDC still received approval. Ardo rejects INEC’s explanation that a court order authorised the registration. He plans to secure certified court records from the Federal High Court in Lokoja and has launched legal action to demand transparency.
