The Office of former President Goodluck Jonathan says a trending Instagram handle impersonating him is fake. The profile, @goodluck_ebelejonathan, frequently changes its username and at times claims to be a fan page. Jonathan’s media aide noted the former president does not operate any personal Instagram account. The deceptive profile has been misleading many users by posing as him. The office has asked Meta to take action and shut down the account to protect unsuspecting members of the public.
