Ogun So-Safe Corps Thwarts Cultist Invasion at Methodist High School, Arrests Four

At about noon on Monday, June 29, Ogun State’s So-Safe Corps responded to a distress call at Methodist High School, Arigbajo, in Ewekoro LGA. Officers confronted a group of suspected cultists armed with machetes, knives and charms. Their swift action forced the hoodlums to flee without injuring any students or staff. A hot pursuit led to the arrest of four suspects: three secondary school students and a 16-year-old scrap metal collector. A cutlass was recovered, while other weapons were abandoned. The suspects and recovered exhibits have been handed over to the Nigeria Police Force at Itori Divisional Headquarters for further investigation. The corps reiterated its zero-tolerance stance against cultism in schools and urged parents to monitor their children’s associations.
