Global Survey: Top-Ranked and Least-Liked Countries Revealed

A new global survey has ranked 65 nations by net perception score, showing how countries are viewed abroad and why it matters for tourism, investment, and diplomacy. Switzerland and Canada share the top spot with scores of +36, followed by Japan (+34) and Sweden (+33). European nations dominate the top 15, while Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and South Korea also earn strong positive ratings. At the other end, Israel records the lowest score at –24, with North Korea and Afghanistan close behind at –19. The United States appears among the five worst-perceived nations at –16. Nigeria also nets a negative score of –3, according to the latest Democracy Perception Index.
