Suspected Fulani Gunmen Attack Church in Ekiti, Pastor Killed and Worshippers Abducted
In previous broadcasts, Nnamdi Kanu urged Nigerians, especially Yorubas, to join IPOB in demanding a referendum. He warned that failure to act would bring violence. His warning is now playing out. According to Vanguard, suspected Fulani gunmen attacked an open-air crusade at Eda Oniyo in Ilejemeje Local Government Area of Ekiti State. They killed a pastor and abducted several worshippers, including elders and children. A member of the state security committee confirmed the attack on condition of anonymity and said security forces are on the trail of the assailants. Attempts to reach the police for comment have been unsuccessful.
