Veteran Comedian Chief Zebrudaya Receives Honorary Doctorate from FADLU
Chief Ambassador Chika Okpala, famously known as Chief Zebrudaya Okoroigwe Nwaogbo alias 430, has been honoured with an honorary doctorate by the First African Distance Learning University (FADLU). FADLU is a licensed online university registered in Nigeria and Mauritius. It is recognised as an internationally accredited pioneer in distance education. The award celebrates Chief Zebrudaya’s lasting impact on Nigerian entertainment. He gained fame through the 1980s sitcom New Masquerade and remains a cultural icon. Chika Okpala, born on June 10, 1950, also holds the national honours MFR and OON. His legacy continues to inspire theatre and television in Nigeria.
