Lopez shared that she values character over grades, reminding her children, “It doesn’t matter if we get good grades so long as we’re good people,” a mantra her teens often quote back. She also spoke about her emotions as they prepare for graduation and their next chapter, joking on a talk show that discussing it makes her tear up. With a new movie on the horizon, she said she’s happy for them to choose different universities. “I want them to be happy, go where they want to go, and do what they want to do,” she added.
