The Dancer and the Star: Should She Give Him Another Chance?

I took the job only to pay my rent. The agency said a company needed a backup dancer for a client’s tour. I never imagined the client would be Zayne, the musician whose songs I used to dance to alone in my room. At first, he treated me like just another dancer in heels. But rehearsals became late-night conversations. When lockdown left us stuck in the same apartment for three weeks, we cooked, danced and slowly fell for each other. Then one misunderstanding destroyed everything. He went on tour, and I walked away from dancing. Two years later, he calls to ask me back for his comeback tour—and for another chance at us. Should I take the job, say no, or set conditions before letting him back into my life?

She should separate the job from the feelings, set clear boundaries, and judge his consistency before making any romantic decision.
