NPFL Weekend Recap: Remo Stars Edge 3SC, Rivers United Fall to Wolves
Remo Stars beat Shooting Stars 1-0 in a keenly contested South West derby at Ikenne. Samuel Anakwe scored four minutes after the break following a superb run and a dummy by Victor Mbaoma. The win lifted Remo Stars to 17th on the table. In Enugu, Rangers reclaimed the top spot after a goalless draw with Barau FC. At Ozoro, Warri Wolves upset Rivers United 2-0. Katsina United edged Niger Tornadoes 1-0 through Elijah Akanni’s 65th-minute finish.
