Wike Announces 31-Day Inauguration Blitz for Abuja Projects to Mark Tinubu’s Third Year

The FCT Minister announced that inaugurations to mark President Tinubu’s three years in office will run from June 8 for 31 days. He made the announcement after inspecting fully completed infrastructure projects across Abuja city centre and satellite towns. Work is ready at the Jahi-Wuye interchange, the Airport Road to Kuje (by Arab Contractors) and the Kuje-Gwagwalada Road (by Gilmor). Wike highlighted seamless connectivity and reduced travel times. He noted you can now drive from the city to Kuje in under 25 minutes. He also revealed plans to light up the remodelled Abuja City Gate by Julius Berger at night. For the Outer Southern Expressway, he certified the engineering works and said governance in the FCT is “firmly in action mode.”
