Diddy Reportedly Spent Up to $8 Million on Lawyers in Federal Criminal Case

Sean “Diddy” Combs reportedly spent between $7 million and $8 million on lawyers during his federal criminal case in the United States. The legal team reportedly represented him from his September 2024 arrest through an eight-week trial in 2025. Combs faced charges including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation for prostitution. A jury acquitted him of the racketeering and sex-trafficking counts but convicted him on two Mann Act counts. He was sentenced to 50 months in prison in October 2025. Separate reports also claim he was briefly placed in solitary confinement after an alleged altercation with another inmate, though there has been no public confirmation from prison officials or his lawyers.
