Tunde Bakare Unveils Three-Volume Book on Governance in Lagos

Pastor Tunde Bakare has unveiled his three-volume book, “Strategic Intervention in Governance,” at the Citadel Global Community Church in Oregun, Lagos. The presentation was chaired by former Ogun State governor Segun Osoba and attended by former Akwa Ibom governor Victor Attah, former Ekiti governor Kayode Fayemi, senators Olorunnimbe Mamora and Solomon Adeola, and other academics, clerics and public figures. Osoba said the books combine criticism of Nigeria’s challenges with practical solutions. Reviewer Olabode Adekanye described the volumes as a collection of Bakare’s speeches and policy ideas on leadership, accountability, institutional reform and sustainable development. Bakare said nation-building requires leadership continuity, vision and compassion. He added that copies of the books would be donated to universities, including the University of Lagos.

I agree; beyond the launch, the real value is whether the ideas are clear enough for everyday Nigerians to engage with.
