Heartland have resumed preparations for the 2026/27 Nigeria National League season, with technical manager Emmanuel Amuneke confirming that training began last Monday. The Naze Millionaires are targeting a return to the Nigeria Premier Football League after missing promotion last season. They finished third in Conference A on 27 points, behind Beyond Limits and promoted side Inter Lagos. Amuneke said the club have begun a new journey and will trust the process as they pursue promotion back to the top flight.
