Is Money the Real Measure of Success? Nollywood Stars Weigh In

Nollywood actress Uche Elendu recently asked on Instagram whether wealth has become the ultimate benchmark for success. She challenged followers to consider if every successful person must be rich, and if every wealthy person truly qualifies as successful. In her view, money matters but total life satisfaction is essential. Several celebrities joined the conversation. Singer Mr Eazi cited a supportive spouse, discipline, patience and the fear of God as success principles. Veteran actors Kanayo Kanayo, Patience Ozokwo and Pete Edochie pointed to wisdom, sacrifice and even a bit of cunning. Media entrepreneur Mary Njoku warned against listening to external pressure when fame or fortune grows, since those voices can vanish in tough times. Other contributors urged self-love and warned against outsourcing happiness to others. Some also reflected on whether modern distractions are preventing today’s youth from focusing on their true goals. What do you believe defines genuine success? Share your thoughts below.
