Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor of Word of Life Bible Church has opened up about his private cancer battle. He spent several months in the United States receiving treatment. He revealed his medical expenses totaled more than $120,000. Despite intense pain, he continued to lead church services and kept his illness out of the public eye. Doctors feared the disease had spread to his bones. He also faced a serious infection that was eventually resolved with antibiotics after surgery was cancelled. After a brief return to Nigeria for a Jubilee program, he went back abroad and, after about four months of treatment, he made a full recovery.
