Anu Oluwayemi Ijoko Cooperative Posts ₦19m Surplus at 26th AGM in Abeokuta

Anu Oluwayemi Ijoko Cooperative Thrift and Credit Society Limited recorded impressive growth at its 26th Annual General Meeting on March 23, 2026, in Abeokuta. Held at Cooperative House, Elega, the event brought together members, stakeholders and state cooperative officials. President Alfa Adamo Sonde thanked God for a successful financial year and praised the support of the Ministry, Ogun State Cooperative Federation and invited guests. He highlighted regular meetings and a rise in membership during the review period. Administrative Manager Mr. Osunjimi reported a net surplus of ₦19,060,297.62, up from ₦12,406,832.79 the previous year. Total loans disbursed surged to ₦128,074,275 from ₦80,251,275, underscoring strong member confidence. The AGM concluded with the election of new executives, the distribution of credit facilities and 6kg gas cylinders to members. Dignitaries, including former OGSCOFED officials, lauded the society’s role in driving economic empowerment in Ogun State.
