Embracing the Spirit of Caleb in Our Spiritual Valleys

Life’s journey brings seasons of triumph and times in the valley of the shadow of death. Even King Solomon, who enjoyed life’s fullness, called it vanity when apart from God. When challenges press in, it’s faith that carries us onward. Caleb declared, “We can certainly do it” and set the tone for trust in God’s promises. Like pillars of cloud by day and fire by night, God’s presence goes before and behind us. Though the path may stretch longer than expected, discouragement is not an option. Jesus taught that faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains. Step by step, we press on from glory to glory, confident that we will possess our “Hebron and surrounding hills.” Let us pray: Lord, grant us Caleb’s spirit—bold faith, unwavering trust, and fresh anointing to overcome every spiritual valley. We will not be overwhelmed or limited. In Jesus’ name, amen.
