Anambra FRSC Sector Commander Bridget Asekhauno Receives WINSEC 2026 Award

The Anambra State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Corps Commander Bridget Asekhauno, has received the Special WINSEC 2026 Award. The award was presented at the Women in Security Summit and Awards in Abuja on 5 August 2026. It recognises her contributions to road safety administration, public education and security-related service. Asekhauno was represented at the ceremony because she was attending a strategic meeting with the FRSC Corps Marshal. The Anambra FRSC Command said the recognition would encourage stronger road-safety initiatives and public-safety collaboration across the state.

This recognition could also prompt more public awareness on FRSC safety guidance, especially during busy travel periods.
