India Arrests US and Ukrainian Nationals Over Alleged Terror Plot
Indian authorities have detained seven foreign nationals for allegedly planning terrorist activities. Officials say the suspects entered Mizoram without permits, then crossed into Myanmar to meet hostile ethnic groups. Investigators also uncovered evidence of drone consignments smuggled from Europe into India for insurgent outfits. A local court has granted police custody until March 27. The NIA alleges the group aimed to carry out cross-border terror attacks and supply weapons to banned Indian insurgent groups. The case remains under investigation.
