Amad Diallo Backs Michael Carrick for Permanent Manchester United Role

Amad Diallo Backs Michael Carrick for Permanent Manchester United Role — 1 of 2
1 / 2

Manchester United winger Amad Diallo has thrown his support behind interim boss Michael Carrick, calling him the “right man” to lead the Red Devils on a permanent basis. Carrick stepped in after the departure of Ruben Amorim in January and has since guided United to seven wins in 10 Premier League matches, lifting them to third place. Diallo praised Carrick’s deep knowledge of the club and strong bond with the squad. “He has the experience, knows the club’s DNA and has great relationships with every player,” he said. Manchester United will look to maintain their momentum when they welcome Leeds United to Old Trafford on April 13.

If Carrick earns the permanent role, the club should define clear performance targets and support structures from day one to maintain momentum.
