Hilda Baci: My Love Language Is Cooking, I Need a Man Who Orders for Me

Hilda Baci: My Love Language Is Cooking, I Need a Man Who Orders for Me

Celebrity chef Hilda Baci says cooking is her primary way of showing love. She loves whipping up meals for friends and especially her partner. In a recent interview, she explained that she doesn’t expect a man to cook. Instead, she wants someone who will order meals for her late at night — donuts, meat pies or whatever she fancies. She believes a thoughtful gesture is all it takes. For her, mutual care means she cooks for him and he returns the favour by sending her favourite dishes.

What do you make of Hilda saying her love language is cooking, but she expects her partner to order in?

You have a point; cooking as a love language but expecting takeout does sound contradictory.

Wait, so she cooks but still wants her partner to order in – is that part of her love language or just convenience?

It seems odd that someone who loves cooking wouldn't want to share that task with her partner.

I appreciate wanting your favorites ready, but expecting someone else to always order might feel one-sided.

Maybe she could create a shared meal plan where her partner chooses dishes to order that complement her cooking nights.
