Galatasaray President Admits Funding €35m of Osimhen Transfer from His Own Company
Galatasaray president Dursun Özbek has revealed he injected €35 million of his personal tourism and real estate funds to finalise Victor Osimhen’s €75 million move from Napoli. Özbek explained that Napoli demanded unprecedented financial guarantees. He says part of the fee was paid upfront by the club, but he had to cover the remainder himself to push the deal through. So far, Osimhen has justified the gamble. The Super Eagles striker has scored 15 league goals and seven in the Champions League as he leads Galatasaray’s bid for the 2025/26 Süper Lig title.
