APC Primaries Delayed by Logistics: Aspirant Commends Delegates’ Patience
Dr Olayinka Alausa praised the patience of APC delegates after the party’s primary election in Lagos began late. He explained that coordinating a nationwide vote can face logistics snags. Materials and INEC officials arrived late, leaving delegates waiting in the sun since 7:00 a.m. Party leaders assured him that polling would start by 2:00 p.m. He noted that delegates maintained good conduct but warned that a late kickoff could reduce turnout as some may have other commitments.
