Super Eagles Denied by Wisniewski’s Last-Second Volley in 2-2 Draw
Przemyslaw Wisniewski struck with seconds remaining to level for Poland, forcing a thrilling 2-2 draw in Warsaw. Coach Eric Chelle fielded Maduka Okoye in goal alongside debutant Abdullahi Bewene, Igoh, Emmanuel Fernandez and Bruno Onyemaechi at the back. Wilfred Ndidi, Tochukwu Nnadi and Frank Onyeka anchored midfield, while Akor Adams, Chidera Moffi and Moses Simon led the attack. The Super Eagles took the lead through Moffi before substitute Paul Onuachu extended their advantage. Poland had opened the scoring early on and then secured the draw when Wisniewski volleyed home a long-range effort in the final seconds. Nigeria now turns its attention to another friendly against Portugal on Wednesday, June 10.
