Tinubu Urges Nigerians to Stay Grateful Amid Tough Fuel Price Hikes

Tinubu Urges Nigerians to Stay Grateful Amid Tough Fuel Price Hikes

President Bola Tinubu appealed to Nigerians on April 10 in Bayelsa to remain thankful despite the sharp rise in petrol costs. He acknowledged the hardship caused by the spike but urged citizens to remember that some other African countries face even greater struggles. "The fuel price is biting hard, but look around. Let us thank God together that you are better off," he said, noting the difficulties in Kenya and elsewhere. He promised that his administration will keep exploring ways to ease the burden on vulnerable groups. (Source: local media report)
