Sundowns Eye Nigerian Centre-Back Olisa Ndah
Nigerian centre-back Olisa Ndah is attracting interest from South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns. The 28-year-old recently became a free agent after leaving Stellenbosch FC. Ndah had joined Stellenbosch in the second half of last season following a stint with Orlando Pirates. Work permit delays limited him to seven league appearances for his former club. Sources report that Sundowns have identified the former Akwa United star as a key defensive target ahead of the new campaign. Talks between the club and Ndah’s representatives are said to be progressing well. Ndah earned four caps for Nigeria and was part of the Super Eagles squad at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon. His success in the South African top flight makes him a coveted signing for the African champions.
