A UK father says he wishes he could turn back time after spending £3,500 on dental implants in Turkey only to come home completely toothless. He flew out in January for 14 implants after his own teeth crumbled following a serious motorbike crash. Despite glowing reviews, the procedure left him in excruciating pain and some implants fell out within days. On a follow-up visit under sedation, the clinic removed all his remaining implants instead of repairing them. He was offered dentures or a partial refund and has since launched a fundraiser to fix his smile. Now unable to eat properly or smile without shame, he warns others to research thoroughly before seeking cheap medical treatment abroad.
