NYSC Unveils 2026 Batch A Stream II Orientation Schedule

The National Youth Service Corps has released the timetable for the 2026 Batch A Stream II orientation course. The 21-day program kicks off on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at camps in all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory. In a statement signed by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, the scheme said registration and reception of Prospective Corps Members begin on April 22. Swearing-in is set for Friday, April 24, and the orientation runs through Tuesday, May 12, 2026. Corps Members are urged to prioritise safety while travelling. Night journeys should end by 6:00 pm. Members may stay overnight at Corps Members’ Lodges, military or police facilities, or traditional rulers’ palaces before continuing their trip the next morning.
