IGP Disu Closes PMF Commanders’ Training in Nasarawa, Promises Better Welfare and Equipment

At the Police Mobile Force Training College in Ende Hills, Nasarawa State, the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, formally closed the Squadron Commanders’ Training Programme. He inspected the simulation ground and shooting range and took part in tactical exercises to assess training facilities. He urged cadets from the Nigeria Police Academy to stay disciplined and reminded them that field effectiveness depends on quality preparation. The IGP stressed resilience, professionalism, and strict adherence to human rights principles. He described the PMF as a highly disciplined, responsive, and reliable tactical arm of the Nigeria Police Force. Disu also reaffirmed his commitment to improving officers’ welfare and assured that formations would be better equipped to tackle evolving security challenges nationwide.
